I picked these two Paul Goldschmidt Autographed cards up off eBay recently from the same seller. I got them for $5.36 each with free shipping. The OBAK card is numbered out of 100.

Card Show Pick-Ups #6 and #7
The last $0.80 set that I picked up at the card show last Saturday was a 2006 South Bend Silver Hawks minor league set. Justin Upton is the only player in the entire set that I'm familiar with.
The last card I picked up at the card show was this 2003 Donruss Signature Series Brandon Webb rookie card. The dealer had a bunch of Webb rookies and he was trying to sell them in lots, but this was the only one I needed that he had. When I asked him how much for just the one card, he told me I could just have it.

Card Show Pick-Up #4
I picked up a 49 card lot of 2006 Upper Deck Star Attractions cards fo $0.80 at the card show last Saturday. I don't think there are any doubles and the set is 50 cards. I think I'm missing Griffey. I won't show all the cards, but here are a few.

Card Show Pick-Up #3
I picked up this 2004 Topps Total Arizona Diamondbacks team set (at least I'm assuming it's a full team set) for $0.80 at the card show this past Saturday. I need the Webb for my Webb collection, so that was a plus as well.

Card Show Purchase #2
I picked up this 50 card Junior Circuit subset (cards #391 - #440) from 2000 UD Victory for $0.80 at the card show. I collect Griffey and I knew I had most of this set already, but I knew I was missing a few cards so I figured for less than a buck, it was a great deal!

Card Show Purchase #1
The card show yesterday was packed, too packed. In addition to Jim Rice and Luis Tiant signing autographs, Larry Fitzgerald was also there and he brought in a lot of people. My first purchases came from a Quarter Box. I picked up 3 Brandon Webb cards, one of which I ended up having already, and a 1997 Bowman Chrome Travis Lee insert card. Here are the 2 Webbs I needed and the Lee.

eBay Pick-Up: 2003 eTopps Brandon Webb
I recently added this 2003 eTopps Brandon Webb rookie card to my collection. I picked it up off eBay for $1.26. I had to create an etopps account to get it put in my name. Now I've just got to figure out the shipping. I'll probably try to pick up a few addition cheap eTopps cards off eBay to make the shipping cost worthwhile.

Autograph Recap From Last Nights D-Backs Game
Last night I took my two oldest boys and we went to the Diamondbacks game. We went early to get a good spot for autographs and it paid off. Adam Eaton got called up to the Majors about two weeks ago and has been doing really well and is a lot of fun to watch. He came out and signed for a while. I didn't have a card for him to sign so we had him sign our ticket stubs. Not ideal, but it turned out that he got his first RBI in the game, so that is kinda cool.
Then right before the game was about to start, Paul Goldschmidt came over and signed about 6 autographs. He signed a 2012 Gypsy Queen card for each of my boys. You can tell that he was in a hurry, but still a great success and my boys were really excited.

Trade with Night Owl
Check out what I got in the mail yesterday from Greg, of the blog Night Owl Cards. I'm not going to lie, it feels good to get a Dodgers card from Greg, but I know that he was happy to see it go since Don Sutton shares the card with former D-Back Brandon Webb. I will happily add that card to my Webb collection. Thanks Greg!

In Person Autograph Success: Ron Wolfley
I listen to Arizona Sports 620 almost every day to work and on the way home. On the way home is the Doug and Wolf Show, which features Doug Franz and Ron Wolfley. Ron Wolfley is a former NFL Pro Bowler who played for the Cardinals, Browns, and Rams. Yesterday the Doug and Wolf Show was broadcasting from a Majerle's Sports Grill in Goodyear. Since it was close to home I took my two oldest boys and we went and got an appetizer. They always have a prize wheel to spin and so we ended up with a Larry Fitzgerald jersey, a Cardinals lanyard, and an Arizona Sports 620 t-shirt. I also took some Ron Wolfley cards and we had him sign them for us. Both he and Doug Franz were really nice, taking the time during what they refer to as a "not so beautiful part of the program" (commercial breaks) to take and sign the cards for us.

Alumni Autographs from Joe at Hello, Victory!
Joe from the blog, Hello, Victory!, hooked me up once again. Through twitter he won suite tickets to the Diamondbacks Alumni game this past Saturday. Part of the deal was that some of the alumni players would visit the suite during the game. Joe was nice enough to get the three players who came to the suite to sign a ball for me. Thanks Joe!
Greg Swindell - (All-Star in 1989 and was on the 2001 D-Backs World Series team)
Mike Hampton - (2 time All-Star, 1999 and 2001. 2000 NLCS MVP. Gold Glove Award winner in 2003 and 5 time Silver Slugger Award winner)
Matt "The Iceman" Mantei - (Injuries plauged Mantei throughout his career, but he could occasionally get the ball up to 100 mph, so he was always fun to watch pitch. Mantei was one of my favorite players back in the day so this was really cool!)

In Person Autograph: Wilson Valera
Only got one autograph at last nights Diamondbacks game. It was of coach Wilson Valera. He signed his picture in the D-Backs Insider magazine. While he was signing took his glove off and put it on one of my sons head, so that was pretty cool! We're going to another game this week and I am going to be more prepared and I'm sure we'll get some good autographs!
