If there is, would you be interested in trading it?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05812393717884924653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6673889727117377790.post-17719069539939741572014-10-05T17:55:57.105-07:002014-10-05T17:55:57.105-07:00I figure out it was the last game for Nolan Ryan, ...I figure out it was the last game for Nolan Ryan, Reggie, and Brooks Robinson and the date of Ichiro's MLB debut.

I think Robinson's was even worse than Ryan's. He was announced as a pinch hitter, but he never made it to the plate as he was then pinch hit for after the other team made a pitching change. What a way to go out. At least Ryan had a chance to do something in his finale.P-town Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07437348006643978055noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6673889727117377790.post-17203225675234189292014-10-05T09:36:12.688-07:002014-10-05T09:36:12.688-07:00Good catch on the Ticket Studs! I looked up the date on the Nolan Ryan Ticket Stud card and quickly became disappointed.

I thought it might be the date of one of his no-hitters. Wrong.
First, the game was played in Seattle, the card should read Texas AT Seattle at the top of the card.
Second, Nolan Ryan started the game, but was hung with the loss after not recording an out in the 1st inning, while giving up two hits, four walks, and five runs.

Why would they pick this date? Answer: it was Nolan's last big league game. Ouch.P-town Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07437348006643978055noreply@blogger.com
