Several years ago I came across a 1998 Topps set in a binder at a card shop here in the Phoenix area for $10. I needed the set, so I picked it up. It happened to be the Diamondbacks parallel set. I was thrilled. $10 for a complete set...in a binder. Hard to beat that. But it get's better. Nearly half of each of the pockets had two cards in them. So I didn't quite get two sets, but close. Most of the big stars only had one card, but I have a nice stack available if you are interested in this particular parallel.
I recently came across these cards again and so I pulled a couple of the cards for my player collections.
If you have a certain player (again, most superstar players are not available) or certain teams that you are interested, let me know.
Jim Thome and John Olerud if available. This is Robert from $30 a week habit. iPad won’t let me sign in
ReplyDeleteI found the Olerud for you. Send me an email to confirm you’re at the same address and I’ll send it to you.
ReplyDeleteWould love White Sox cards!! Did you already pull the Randy Johnson???
ReplyDeleteThere wasn’t a Randy Johnson in this stack of dups, so I just have the one in the complete set. I pulled the White Sox cards for you. Send me an email with your address. daniel24303 at gmail dot com
