I'm going to do a Topps Page-A-Year binder and so yesterday I picked up my first two 1952 Topps cards! They aren't in great shape, but they are perfect for my binder!
Dale Mitchell was a 2 x All-Star (1949 and 1952), but he is also known for taking a called third strike to end Don Larsen's Perfect Game during the 1956 World Series.
Walt Dropo was the 1950 American League Rookie of the Year for the Red Sox.
They both pretty nice. Dropo looks like a comic book hero.
