#Game162

The Diamondbacks recently took the field for the last time in 2016. They finish the season against the San Diego Padres. Fitting since after 161 games, the D-Backs and Padres are tied for last place in the N.L. West with records of 68-93. Today's game will determine who finished in the basement.

Hope we don't end up last, but you know what they say. If you're not first, you're last.

Here are a few team issued cards that my son got recently at a game we attended. They came in a four card sheet and can be separated.

  1. I envy your team issued cards - I wish the Cubs did something like this throughout the season! They kind of remind me of a Topps sticker design.

  2. Congratulations on your team not finishing in the cellar! Both of my teams were the bottom of their divisions. Woo hoo!

  3. Nice Homie team cards although they seem a little dark. As a Mostly DC sports fan I know what it like to have your team finishing in the basement. Until 2012 the Nationals were basement dwellers. It is frustrating to say the least. When it happens several years in a row you sort of expect it just as Washington Capitals fans expect the team to find a way to lose in the first round of the playoffs every year.
