100 Pounds - 100 Cards - Card #28

Card #28 of my 100 Pounds - 100 Cards posts is a 1964 Topps Curt Flood Card. At one point a collector was hoarding this particular card and it put a premium on this card. I came across this card at my local card shop and picked it up for around $10. The card is in great shape and I was really happy to add it to my collection.

    I remember reading about the 64T Flood hoarding guy. Seems like there are some available on COMC now. Wonder if he's chilled out or if he's just more selective about the cards he's picking up.

    That collector mentioned has over 4,000 of this card. That is commitment. You're lucky to have acquired a nice copy for only $10. If your LCS put it online it probably would have gone for more.
