Card Shop Recap

I went to my LCS today during lunch and picked up two cards and a few supplies. here's what I got.

First up is this 1966 Topps Don Mossi card. I saw that face and for $0.50 I just couldn't say no.

Next, is this 1970 Topps National League Home Run Leaders card featuring McCovey, Aaron, and May. The centering isn't great but all the corners are sharp, so for $2 I couldn't pass up a card featuring two Hall of Fame players from their playing days.

Vintage Trade Bait

I'm going to post a few vintage cards as trade bait for the 2004 Topps Derby Digs cards that I posted about yesterday. I need the Pujols and the Edmonds cards from that set to complete it. The condition on these vintage cards is far from perfect, but they are still pretty cool. I've had them since I was a teenager and really don't fit my vintage wants right now (I'm looking for beat up rookie cards of star players/Hall of Famers.) so I'd be willing to trade these cards for the Pujols or Edmonds. I'd also be willing to sell all of these cards for $30 shipped, which would allow me to pick up both the Pujols and Edmonds cards from the 2004 Topps Derby Digs set. If you are interested in either trading or buying let me know. Thanks!

1954 Bowman Gil Hodges #138 - This is the roughest card in the bunch and features a tape stain as well as a crease accross the middle (not very visable from the front) and wear on the back of the card.

1965 Topps Willie McCovey #176

1979 Topps Mike Schmidt # 610

1975 Topps Carl Yastrzemski #280

1968 Topps Carl Yastrzemski #250

1975 Topps Reggie Jackson #300

And then there were five.

This 2001 SP Legendary Cuts Bat Card of Willie McCovey is my latest bat card of a 500 Home Run Club member. This card came today via eBay. I got it for $7 shipped. I need just five cards (soon to be four) to complete my goal; Ruth, Rodriguez, Killebrew, Palmeiro, and Foxx.
