August 26, 1990 - Bo Jackson hits 4 consecutive home runs!

Bo Jackson hit 3 home runs in his first 3 at-bats on July 17, 1990 against the New York Yankees. In the same game he hurt his shoulder and ended up being on the disabled list for 40 days. In his first at-bat after rejoining the Royals, Jackson hit a 450-foot home run against the Seattle Mariners on August 26, 1990. This made him just the 17th MLB player to hit 4 home runs in 4 consecutive at-bats

Trade with Plaschke, Thy Sweater is Argyle

Gregory, of the blog Plaschke, Thy Sweater is Argyle, contacted me recently about some 2013 Allen & Ginter cards and a trade was arranged. Thanks Gregory!

I love adding new autographed D-Backs cards to my collection!

Goldschmidt cards are always welcome!

A mini Aaron Hill card found its way into the envelope.

Miggy. He hit a home run off the foul pole on Friday night. It sounded awesome!

Chase Anderson started the season off strong, but has struggled as of late. He lost again today.

Durazo was one of my favorite D-Backs back in the day.

In addition to the D-Backs cards, Gregory sent me a few hockey and basketball cards. Mostly Arizona teams, but one hockey card was for my Cards Featuring Awards mini collection.

2003 Topps T205 minis for sale/trade

I've got some 2003 Topps T205 mini cards that I'm looking to move. The backs vary between Polar Bear (17), Drum (2), Brooklyn (3), Sovereign (2), Honest (3), Sweet Caporal (1), and Piedmont (2). If you want to know specifics let me know. There are 30 cards. The first person to offer $15 shipped gets the lot. That's $0.50 per card. If nobody offers $15 today, then $10 shipped, or $0.30 per card, on Monday, August 25th takes the lot. If nobody offer $10 by Tuesday, then I'll be open to trade offers for the lot.

I'm not really interested in trading individual cards only because I can't afford to pay shipping on 10 different trade packages right now. Sorry.

Let me know if you're interested.

I need your 2014 Topps Opening Day Blue Parallels

My son wanted to go through some of his cards on Sunday. He went through a stack of 2014 Topps, Opening Day, and Heritage cards. He sorted them all by team. After he was finished he came to me with this card and told me it was his favorite. He asked me if I knew why it was his favorite.

It didn't take me long to notice the date stamp of March 30, 2014. March 30th is my son's birthday.

As a kid, your birthday is the BEST day ever. It's almost magical. So I get him saying that this is his favorite card. I'd like to trade for your 2014 Topps Opening Day Blue Parallels and put this set together for my son.

Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

Best...Birthday...Card...Ever!

My birthday was last month and I got this awesome birthday card from my sister and brother-in-law. It is quite possibly the best birthday card ever!

Here's the front of the card.

Here's the inside. Don't worry. I cropped out all the mushy stuff about me being so wonderful and all that.

Card Shop Pick-Up: 2014 Museum Collection Paul Goldschmidt Jumbo Jersey

I went to my LCS yesterday and picked up this 2014 Museum Collection Paul Goldschmidt Jumbo Jersey. It's numbered 19/50.

I need to start picking up some of the base/parallels cards from 2014 Museum Collection.

Package from ScottyBrew13

Fellow YouTuber and D-Backs fan, ScottyBrew13, contacted me recently to see if I'd be interested in purchasing some D-Backs cards. He showed me the cards and gave me a fair price. A few days later a package arrived.

My favorite card of the bunch is this 2000 Skybox Dominion Hats Off Randy Johnson Game-Used Hat card.

Next up are a couple of Trevor Cahill Gypsy Queen cards.

This is my least favorite card of the group for obvious reasons.

Here's a Miguel Montero Gypsy Queen jersey card.

For some reason I've wanted this card for a while, so it was nice to have it be part of the group. It's from 2009 Topps Ticket to Stardom and is numbered out of 499.

The final two cards are of Ian Patrick Kennedy.
