I got a 2009 UD Icons Stephen Drew Letterman (R) card in a trade a while back and decided I would try to get the rest of the cards needed to complete just his last name, DREW. I picked up W up on eBay a little while back and decided to get the D and the E cards. Both cards were listed on checkoutmycards.com. The D was listed at $8.72 and the E was listed at $4.50. I made offers on both. I offered $4.50 for the D and $4.00 for the E. Within a half an hour my $4.00 offer for the E was rejected by the seller Joelshitshow. No big deal I thought. I'll pay the $4.50 for it. I went to buy it and saw that he had raised the price to $8.71. I'll be honest, that pissed me off. I don't have a problem with him rejecting my offer, but the fact that once he knew I was interested, he almost doubled the asking price really made me mad. I did make another offer of $4.50 hoping that he would accept. I waited roughly another half hour and saw that my $4.50 offer for the D was accepted. Shortly thereafter I got notified that Joelshitshow had rejected my $4.50 offer for the E and had raised his price to $10, which is high book value according to checkoutmycards.com. I will never buy anything from Joelshitshow and would encourage everyone else to be warry of dealing with him. I wish you could contact sellers through checkoutmycards.com, but as far as I know that's not an option. I did email checkoutmycards.com though to voice my concern over what happened. I found the E on the Beckett marketplace and should have both the D and the E by early next week. The W I got off eBay is below.
