2008 Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects

The Card Investor offered up some free sets a while back. Yeah, that's right, I didn't say cards, I said sets. He was looking to add some followers to his blog and get some feedback, and in return he sent out sets of cards. Here are some of the sets he was giving away.

I ended up getting the 2008 Bowman Draft Picks & Prospects base set, which was awesome because I wasn't really collecting in 2008 and didn't have any of the cards, other than maybe Max Scherzer which I got as trade. Thanks Card Investor! Here are a few highlights rom the set.

An Unexpected Jumbo Pack

Every once in a while my wife will surprize me with something baseball card related. When I got home from work on Thursday, she surprized me with a 2009 Topps Updates & Highlights Jumbo pack. She knows I am trying to complete this set and because of the pack, I am now 3 cards closer to finishing it. Here are a 3 out of the 4 inserts that I got (not scanning the Topps Town Dan Uggla card).
