Dealing with the consequences

I made a purchase today on eBay that gets me one huge step closer to finishing one of my card collecting goals that I set for myself in 2010. I don't want to say what it was that I purchased because I want it to be in hand before I post about it. The problem is that I had to spend more money than I have spent on a single card in a long time (since before I was married). I was able to justify the purchase by having listed several cards on eBay myself in an effort to keep my wife from killing me. So, I thought I would do a little advertising for my stuff on eBay here on my blog. I have 17 cards up on eBay right now so below you can find a sampling of what I have up.

Box Break: 2010 Topps 206 (4 "hits")

After striking out in my attempt to get a Bryce Harper autograph at todays Scorpions vs. Rafters AFL game, I decided to treat myself to a box 2010 Topps 206 at my local card shop, AZ SportsCards. The price recently dropped to $39 a box and I had been wanting to get one for a while, so I stopped on my way home and opened up a box. Here are the highlights.

An Unexpected Jumbo Pack

Every once in a while my wife will surprize me with something baseball card related. When I got home from work on Thursday, she surprized me with a 2009 Topps Updates & Highlights Jumbo pack. She knows I am trying to complete this set and because of the pack, I am now 3 cards closer to finishing it. Here are a 3 out of the 4 inserts that I got (not scanning the Topps Town Dan Uggla card).
