I picked up this 2010 Mark Reynolds bobblehead on ebay on Friday and got it today since the seller was local.
I would love to know the story behind this bobblehead because as far as D-Backs bobbleheads go, it's pretty rare.
Reynolds had a bobblehead in 2009 as well that is readily available on ebay and other avenues for $15 -$20. This 2010 version rarely pops up on ebay and is always in the $35 - $40 range when it does. I hate spending that much on bobbleheads so I put off getting it on ebay and instead tried to find it in card shops, craigslist. antique shops, yard sales, Goodwill, Facebook groups, etc.
I finally bit the bullet and picked this on up for just under $32 shipped.
The last D-Backs bobblehead I need is one from this season. It's a Hello Kitty Diamondbacks Bobblehead. It's another one that goes in the $30 - $40 and I'm having a hard time spending that much on something that is Hello Kitty.
My question is, should I consider it a must for my Diamondbacks bobblehead collection. Up until today, I said yes. It's a bobblehead that was given away at a Diamondbacks game, so I had to have it for my collection to be complete. But today I was looking at the Diamondbacks Bobble World web site and they don't even list the Hello Kitty bobblehead there.
So what do you think, do I need to have the Hello Kitty bobblehead or is my collection now complete? let me know what you think?
