TTM Success: Ryne Sandberg

I sent a 1989 Score First Night Game at Wrigley Field card to Ryne Sandberg at the Phillies with a really nice letter hoping to get the card signed rather than the standard manager postcard.

It didn't work, but at least I got something. I sent the request on 6/1 and I got it back on 7/2. 

I actually feel lucky to have gotten something back. On 6/26 Ryne stepped down as manager of the Phillies. The envelope was postmarked on 6/24. 

I know it is a form letter, but it is kind of ironic given the circumstances.

    Not bad, wish you got it on the Score card but I'm sure you'll find a way to take care of that one, especially now that he's without a job
