The "Cactus" League

I was born and raised in Arizona so cacti (the plural of cactus) is very familiar to me, but it's not all that often that I see it on cardboard. With the Cactus League here in Arizona though, you do see cacti on cardboard every once in a while.

I'll have to add more cards to this post as I come across more cards with cactus.

How about you? Is there anything unique to your state that occasionally ends up on a baseball card?

  1. I'm thinking the number of photos taken in North Dakota that ended up on baseball cards is quite low, but I do know of at least one card of a guy in a cornfield. I think it's Dustin Hermanson's Score rookie card from the mid 90s if memory serves.

  2. I always enjoy seeing the Golden Gate Bridge in the background of cards.

  3. Early Rockies cards had a lot of mountains. See 1993 Upper Deck team card, 1993 Leaf backs, 1998 Metal Universe
