Today is National Bobblehead Day. It's not part of my Every Day's a Holiday posts because it's not listed in the calendar, but I still wanted to celebrate with a post. I'll even give you an opportunity to earn 10 points towards my It's like having my own Card Shop Loyalty Program. You can get 5 points for liking my photo on Facebook and trying to help me win a bobblehead by clicking here and another 5 points for commenting that you've done so.
Also, I'd love to know what your favorite bobblehead is and why. If you don't like bobbleheads...cough defgav cough, then let me know why.
"Liked" the picture. Never really cared about bobbleheads one way or the other.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for liking the picture. I understand that they aren't for everyone.
DeleteI have had a couple of bobble heads over the years but the one she I have had usually ended up broken in a move. Now I have just an Ichiro and a couple of Funko bobble heads.
ReplyDeleteThey are fragile. Luckily I've only moved one about 5-6 years ago and I didn't have nearly as many then as I do now.
DeleteI did a bobblehead countdown of my favorites back in the day. I've acquired a dozen more or so since then so maybe I should update my list.
ReplyDeleteMy new favorite is my Ben Zobrist bobble with him holding the World Series Trophy. It's beautiful!
I remember that countdown. You have some great looking bobbleheads! Certainly understandable why the Zobrist would be your new favorite!
DeleteI just like trying to keep my collection to cards-only, because stuff like bobbleheads and baseballs/bats/figures can quickly take up a lot of space. Also, I've always thought most bobbleheads are kinda creepy looking. But to each their own! :)
ReplyDeleteThey do take up a lot of room and some are a little creepy looking.
DeleteLove the Wild Thing bobble. I believe a minor league team did a JOBU bobblehead a year or two ago
ReplyDeleteI just looked it up on ebay and they did make one and it's pricey. Cool, but pricey!
