I'm only a couple months behind.

I haven't showed off my Black Friday order from comc.com yet. It needed to be sorted, scanned, and put away. I'm just getting around to it now.

The majority are Goldschmidt cards. I know I bought them in 2016, but since I'm not sorting them and putting them away until 2017 I'm going to count them towards my 2017 Paul Goldschmidt goals.

I don't feel guilty about this because I think I'll probably end up doubling my original goal by the end of the year.

I bought 13 Goldschmidt cards on Black Friday, but I've already added two of the card in between then and now, so here are the 11 new Goldschmidt cards for my collection.

The rest of the comc.com order.

No commentary...just cardboard.

  1. Some nice cardboard at that. I will have to see what Paul's I have. Nothing this nice probably mostly base

    1. Thanks! I appreciate it. I need to get a list posted at some point to help myself and others to know what ones I already have and which ones I need.

  2. It's funny. I have a love/hate relationship with my COMC orders. It's all fun and games... until I need to sit down and scan every card and sort them out. Actually... I'm taking a break from sorting all of the dime cards I purchased yesterday. It was a blast sifting through them knowing I only paid 10¢ each for them. But... I've hit the wall and now I'm avoiding my office (which has stacks and stacks of cards laying around).

Okay enough moaning and groaning about my first world problem. Great Goldschmidts. Especially love the one with the 71/72 Topps hockey card design.

  3. Most of my comc orders are only 20-30 cards, so it's not too bad, but I hear you on the dime box cards. It can be taxing to scan, sort, and file all the pick-ups. So much fun though!
