Spring Training Autograph Success: Cleveland Indians

The Indians played a night game today so they didn't hit the practice fields until about 4 pm. I took my two older boys out and we got a few autographs. 11 cards were signed by 5 different players and only one of them was an Indians card.

First up is Trevor Bauer. We've tried to get him multiple times this year and haven't had any luck so we were all really excited that he stopped and signed. He was extremely nice and signed for everyone and chatted with everyone while he was signing. We got him to sign 3 of his 2013 Topps cards.

We also got another former D-Back, Bryan Shaw. We got him to sign 3 of his 2013 Topps cards. My goal is to get the entire 2013 Topps Diamondbacks team set signed, so even though Bauer and Shaw aren't on the D-Backs this season, these were cards that I really wanted to get signed.

Jason Giambi was really nice and signed for everyone and was taking pictures and interacting with the fans. We got three different cards signed by him.

We also got Drew Stubbs and Michael Brantley. We had gotten them both before, but this way we can each have one.

  1. NIce!!! Have you ever seen Scott Kazmir while you were at Indians camp? I just found out that he is making a comeback attempt with the Indians. That would be awesome because he was the Rays first ever good pitcher. A big reason they made the WS in 2008.
