I picked up this 2000 Fleer 3000 Club bat card of Stan Musial about 2 weeks ago. I got it on eBay for $15.24 shipped. I love it and it is perfect for my 3000 Hit Club bat card collection. This is my 11th bat card of a 3000 Hit Club member. Only 17 more to go.

I went to an autograph signing this past Saturday at a card shop in Mesa, AZ and got the D-Backs below on 8 x 10's. Can anybody name all 5 players?

TTM Success: Dirk Nowitzki
I haven't gotten any ttm returns in for about a week or so, but here's a nice return that I haven't posted yet. I sent Dirk Nowitzki a ttm request on 2/9/12 and got my card back signed on 3/19/12. Pretty cool that he signed it in a gold paint pen.

Two Trade with Adam
Adam doesn't have a blog, but he's a great trader. He and I have completed two seperate trades recently. I'm going to post about both trades in this post. First, he offered up a Ryan Roberts Autograph for my Ryan Roberts PC and we were able to work out a trade. He threw in a few D-Backs cards as well.
For the second trade, Adam noticed a few Barry Bonds cards on my trade bait page and in return he sent me 9 Brandon Webb cards to add to my Brandon Webb PC. Thanks Adam!

Cards from Work
I have a friend at work that's a big baseball fan. He's from Florida, so he likes the Rays and the D-Backs. We talk baseball and autographs frequently and he's recently started to get back into collecting cards. I've been able to give him a few cards as he starts his collection back up and today he returned the favor. He picked up this 2012 Topps Heritage Clubhouse Collection Justin Upton Jersey card for me on eBay and gave me a couple of Piazza cards as well. The Upton jersey card is awesome and off the top of my head, I don't think I have either of the Piazza cards, so those will go nicely in my collection! Thanks Joe!
Trade with The Angels, In Order
I had recently completed a trade with Tom from the blog, The Angels, In order, when he posted a Mike Piazza card that he had gotten from an unopened pack of 1994 Fleer Sunoco Atlantic cards that he had won on listia.com. I asked if it was for trade and he said it was. He sent it to me along with some D-Backs cards. Here is the Piazza and a few of the Diamondbacks cards that he sent me.
The photo on the Piazza card is awesome and it's from an obscure set that was only available when you purchased a certain amount of either Sunoco or Atlantic gas, so I'm pretty sure I don't already have it. I have pretty much put my Piazza collection on hold for the past several years, but I might start it back up again.

Next, a couple of current D-Backs, C.Y. and J-Up.
An Erubial Durazo Rookie Card.
Finally, a Matt Williams Heritage card
TTM Success: Tim Wallach
My next ttm success from the 2003 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites set is Tim Wallach. I sent this card to Tim on 3/1/12 and got it back on 3/12/12.

eBay Pick-Ups: 2004 Topps Derby Digs
I'm trying to complete the 2004 Topps Derby Digs set that I started back in 2010. There are only 7 cards in the set and they are all typically available on eBay, so it's just a matter of money and pulling the trigger. I had 2 of the 7 and I recently purchased 3 more off eBay (Delgado, Sexson, and Giambi), 2 from one seller and 1 from another. I now need the Albert Pujols and Jim Edmonds cards. Let me know if you have them as I would be happy to trade for them. Thanks! Here are the 5 that I have.
TTM Success: Bob Friend
My next ttm success from the 2003 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites success is from Bob Friend. I sent this card to Mr. Friend on 2/29/12 and got it back on 3/7/12. He signed it and inscribed it 1960 W.S> Champs

Vintage Trade Bait
I'm going to post a few vintage cards as trade bait for the 2004 Topps Derby Digs cards that I posted about yesterday. I need the Pujols and the Edmonds cards from that set to complete it. The condition on these vintage cards is far from perfect, but they are still pretty cool. I've had them since I was a teenager and really don't fit my vintage wants right now (I'm looking for beat up rookie cards of star players/Hall of Famers.) so I'd be willing to trade these cards for the Pujols or Edmonds. I'd also be willing to sell all of these cards for $30 shipped, which would allow me to pick up both the Pujols and Edmonds cards from the 2004 Topps Derby Digs set. If you are interested in either trading or buying let me know. Thanks!
1954 Bowman Gil Hodges #138 - This is the roughest card in the bunch and features a tape stain as well as a crease accross the middle (not very visable from the front) and wear on the back of the card.
1965 Topps Willie McCovey #176
1979 Topps Mike Schmidt # 610
1975 Topps Carl Yastrzemski #280
1968 Topps Carl Yastrzemski #250
1975 Topps Reggie Jackson #300
TTM Success: Vern Law
I have a partial 2003 Topps All-Time Fan Favorites set that I have been sending out cards from to try to get autographed. I already showed a Ron Cey ttm success that I got back from that set. In some of my next few posts I'll feature a few more ttm returns from that set. I sent this card to Vern Law on 2/27/12 and received it back signed on 3/5/12.

I need this card. Please help!
I need the card shown below. I'm trying to complete the 2004 Topps Derby Digs set, which features jersey pieces from the 2003 Home Run Derby. I have been "working" on this set from 2+ years. Every time I try to get this card off eBay, someone grabs it at the last second. It usually goes for around $10 as an auction, but everybody wants $20 or $25 for the BIN price. Today I got out bid at the last second and lost it once again. The winning bid was $8.88. I have a couple of these and have recently picked up a few more that I should get soon. I still need the Pujols and the Jim Edmonds card from this set. If anyone has either of those cards and would be willing to trade, please let me know. Thanks!
Listia Pick-Ups
I won a few auctions over at listia.com within the last couple of weeks. Nothing special, but they were all free to me, so I can't complain.
First up, a few D-Backs cards.
Next, a 1969 Topps card of Mets pitcher Ron Taylor. I'm trying to put together a 1969 Topps Mets team set, since they won the World Series that year. I have a 1969 Mets World Series program and I thought it would be cool to have the team set to go with it.
I got this Ichiro for like 50 credits or something like that, so I couldn't pass it up.
I picked up this Hellickson RC for my Rookie Cards of player that won the Rookie of the Year Award.

Spring Training Autograph Successes: Dodgers
A week or so ago I took a day off work because my son had won son Spring Training tickets to see the Dogers and Giants when we went to the Dodgers/White Sox Spring Training Fan Fest. I went to the stadium early and hit up the Dodgers practice fields to try to get autographs. I got Dee Gordon on a 2012 Topps card and on a Dodgers mini bat. I got eight other dodgers players/coaches on the mini bat as well. Rick Honeycutt, Kenley Jansen, Ivan DeJesus, Trent Oeltjen, Tony Gwynn Jr., Adam Kennedy, Josh Lindblom, and Mike MacDougal.
Card Shop Pick-Ups
I picked up a couple of cards about a week ago at one of my LCS. I think they were 2 for $1, or 3 for $1...I can't remember. I picked up the Stephen Drew card below and 5 of the Paul Goldschmidt rookie cards. I sent one of the Goldschmidt cards as a ttm, so hopefully I'll get that back soon. The otehr 4 are one each for myself and my three boys.

Trade with Cards from the Quarry
I recently completed a trade with Johnny of the blog, Cards from the Quarry. He contacted me about a card for my 3000 Hit Club Bat Card Collection. We arranged a trade and I ended up with a Paul Molitor Bat card for my collection. Thanks Johnny! You can see my progress on the 3000 Hit Club Bat Card Collection here.

TTM Success: Edwin Jackson on a No-Hitter Ticket
I saw that Edwin Jackson was signing through the mail this spring, so I sent him a ticket from his No-Hitter and he signed it for me. I sent it on 3/1/12 and got it back just 7 days later on 3/8/12.

Card Show Pick-Up: 1993 Upper Deck SP lot
I went to a card show this past Saturday and picked up a few 2012 Heritage D-Backs cards and a lot of 186, 1993 Upper Deck SP cards. It appears to be a set with almost all of the star cards taken out, but I only paid $1 for it so I can't complain. I was flipping through the cards when I came accross this card and that's when I decided to by it.
Ever take a picture and then years later you regret it? How about minutes later?
Have you ever seen a picture on the front of a card and then wondered what happened right after that picture was taken.
At that point I stopped flipping through the cards, put them back in the box, and gave the guy a dollar. When I got home I went through the rest of the cards and found some more great/interesting/questionable photography.

Here are a few additional card backs that I found interesting.
