Since the D-Backs are playing the Rays today and tomorrow I thought it would be a great time to show a recent eBay pick-up for my Ryan Roberts collection. It's a 2012 Panini Prizm Gold Parallel card serial numbered 05/10.

eBay Pick-Ups: 2013 Bowman Inception Autos
I put in a Best Offer of $4.00 each for these two cards and got combined shipping for $1.99, so I got both cards for $9.99. They go great with the Adam Eaton Inception Auto that I bought earlier this month.

eBay Pick-Up: $0.99 Buy-It-Now
I got this 2011 Topps Tier One Crowd Pleasers Ian Kennedy Autograph numbered 40/75 off eBay for $0.99 plus $2.50 shipping. I got a couple other cards to combine shipping; one of which was the 2011 Topps Tier One Crowd Pleasers Edgar Martinez Autograph that I showed in an earlier post.
eBay Pick-Up: Lot of 6 Autographed D-Backs Cards
I had been watching a lot of 6 autographed D-Backs cards for a few months. The seller had a Buy-It-Now price of $14.95 with free shipping, which is a good price, but I just couldn't pull the trigger. The lot went to another final day of a 30 day listing and the seller dropped the price to $9.95 with free shipping so I bought it and couldn't be happier!
The first three cards are awesome and are well worth the price of the lot. The Finley card goes nicely with the other 2005 Prime Patches cards in my collection! It's always nice to add a Webb card to my PC that I didn't already have. The Montero looks way better in person than in the scan! The Chris Owings card is nice but I'm not a big fan of non-licensed stuff so might try to move it. Medders spent parts of a couple of seasons with the D-Backs and that is my only auto of him. Ansman never made it to the big leagues, but it's still an okay card.

Dime Cards
I picked these up for a dime each at my LCS a while back and I don't think I ever got around to showing them. Some are for ttm, some for my Multiple Bat collection, and some just because I liked them and they were only a dime.
PWE from HCC
I got a PWE yesterday from Pat over at Hot Corner Cards with some 2013 Topps Opening Day D-Backs cards. The two Goldschmidt cards will also be posted on my other blog, Goldschmidt Happens. Thanks Pat!

eBay Pick-Up: 2005 Prime Patches Steve Finley Jersey 194/261
I had picked up a few other 2005 Prime Patches Steve Finley cards a while back and so I saw this on eBay and picked it up recently for just over $5 shipped. You can see some of my other 2005 Prime Patches Steve Finley cards here and here.
eBay Pick-Up: 2013 Panini Prizm Ryan Roberts Refractor Auto 10/25
I haven't picked up many Ryan Roberts cards since he signed with the Rays. It's just different with him not being on the D-Backs. But, I did pick up his 2013 Panini Prizm Refractor Auto off eBay recently because I figured since they were numbered out of 25, they might not be on eBay for very much longer. I did a Best Offer of $7.50 with free shipping.
If anyone has the base auto or any of the Prizm Ryan Roberts cards for that matter and want to trade please let me know. Thanks!

2013 Topps Opening Day
My 7 year old son is working on the 2013 Topps Opening Day set. He needs 25 cards to complete it. If you have any of the cards he needs please let me know so we can work out a trade. Thanks!

eBay Pick-Up: Paul Goldschmidt MLB Debut and 1st Career HR Tickets
Since I started a blog about Paul Goldschmidt I figured I should try and pick up some Goldschmidt items. I decided to try to find a ticket from his MLB debut and found one on eBay for $2.50. His debut was on August 1, 2011 against the Giants in San Francisco. The same seller also had a ticket from the August 2, 2011 game where Goldy hit his first career home run, so I picked that up as well for $2.50. With combined shipping I spent under $8 for the two tickets which I hope to get signed sometime soon.

It was too good a deal to pass up!
Sometimes I come across cards that are just too good a deal to pass up. Such was the case with this 2010 Bowman Futures Game jersey card of Starlin Castro. It's serial numbered to 99 on the back. I just put it on eBay with a starting bid of 8 times what I paid for it and that is still $5 less than the only other one currently on eBay. If it doesn't sell right away I have no problem keeping it for a while.

Check out a new blog called Goldschmidt Happens
You've got to go check out this awesome new blog that I came accross the other day called Goldschmidt Happens. It's devoted to all things Goldschmidt! I also know for a fact that owner of the blog is handsome, smart and very clever. You guesses it, I started another blog to focus on my favorite D-Back, Paul Goldschmidt. I'll be posting all things Goldy including cards, autographs, memorabilia, and news and notes about the All-Star first baseman.
eBay Pick-Up: 2011 Topps Tier One Edgar Martinez Auto
I picked this up for $8.75 shipped off eBay last week. Growing up, Ken Griffey Jr. was my favorite player and I used to go to Mariners Spring Training games at Peoria Sports Complex all the time, so Edgar Martinez is a player that I'm very familiar with. I personally think that he should be in the Hall of Fame. I mean come on, the Outstanding Designated Hitter Award was renamed in his honor.
The card does have two creases on the left hand side of the card near the middle that are about half an inch long. You can't see them in the scan and I couldn't see them on the picture on eBay. The cards (I bought 3 cards from the same seller) were packaged well and none of the other cards have any issues, so I think the creases were probably there when I bought it. Should I say something to the seller or just be happy since I think $8.75 is a good price for a nice card?

My first, and probably last, pack of 2013 Topps Series II
For my birthday earlier this month I got a couple of packs. I got one pack of 2013 Topps Archives and one pack of 2013 Topps Series II. Here are the contents of the pack of Series II.
This was my favorite card of the pack since it features Rodney's "Shoot the Moon" trademark pose.
My first, and probably only, pack of 2013 Topps Archives

This guy is on fire!
I was really happy to pull this Adam Eaton RC. Adam has been injured, but just played in his first game this year this past week. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
I can't remember ever seeing a baseball card with a player frowning before.
Tall Boy of Fred Lynn.
Not a bad pack in my opinion, but I just don't buy many packs or boxes these days.
My Arizona Diamondbacks Bobblehead Collection
Here is a short video of my Arizona Diamondbacks Bobblehead collection. I have 31 out of 56 SGA D-Backs Bobbleheads. The second shelf also includes a 2013 Wade Miley Garden Nome, not a bobblehead, but it was a SGA.
2001 World Series' Co-MVP's Bobblehead
I went to a card show yesterday. I picked up a 2003 Topps Diamondbacks team set and 40 or so 10/$1 cards. I was about to leave when I spotted this 2001 World Series' Co-MVP's bobblehead of Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling. I've wanted this bobblehead for a long time! They were only given to season ticket holders in 2002 and so they are fairly rare. The cheapest I've ever see it has been $40. eBay has one right now for $25 with $15 shipping, so again, $40. I asked how much it was and the guy said $20 but that he didn't have the box for it. I told him I would take it. I now have 31 out of the 56 SGA D-Backs bobbleheads. The 56 includes 2 upcoming bobbleheads (Paul Goldschmidt and Miguel Montero) this season that I already have tickets for.

I also picked up this Carl Crawford autograph for $5.
