I got a redemption in the mail from Topps today. I actually redeemed two of these, so I was surprised when only one was in the package. I do like the card though.

Trade with My first blog
I got an email recently from John of My first blog. John said that he had some D-Backs cards for me. We arranged a trade and I got a package in the mail a few days later. Here are several of the cards that I got. Thanks John!
All of the cards John sent were Diamondbacks except for one. It's a Dan Wilson card. My name is Dan Wilson, so I've always had a soft spot for his cards.
Trade with Zippy Zappy
I recently got an email from Zippy Zappy and he told me that he had some D-Backs cards that he'd like to trade me. Specifically he had a group of 2012 Sega Card Gen cards of various D-Backs, including Ryan Roberts. The Ryan Roberts was of particular interest to me because I'd been watching for one to show up at a reasonable price on eBay for my Ryan Roberts Collection.
I got some great cards including the Sega Card Gen cards and Zippy was nice enough to provide me with a translation of each card, which was awesome!

In addition to the Japanese cards, I got some other great D-Backs cards. Here are just a few; including some Bowman Sterling cards that are typically out of my price range.
Next up are a couple of parallels of Didi Gregorious.
Finally, here are a couple of Paul Goldschmidt cards.

Trade with All the Way to the Backstop
Marcus, of the blog All the Way to the Backstop, contacted me recently saying that he had some D-Backs cards and wondered if I wanted to trade. I sent him some Padres and he sent me a nice stack of Diamondbacks. Here are some of my favorites. Thanks Marcus!
First up is the base and Target Red parallel of the 2013 Topps Update Patrick Corbin All-Star card.

This is my favorite card that Marcus sent. It's the Sepia version numbered to 75. I now have the Base, Refractor, X-Fractor, Purple, Blue, Sepia, and Gold versions of the 2013 Topps Chrome Paul Goldschmidt.
Here is a Purple Toys R Us version of the 2013 Topps Adam Eaton RC.
Here is a Minor League card of A.J. Pollock while he was the Reno Aces.
2013 Topps Update Gold parallel of Eric Chavez.
2013 Topps Archives Paul Goldschmidt.
2012 Topps Gold parallel of Ryan Roberts. I already have it, but it's just a great card featuring a moment that I will probably never forget.

eBay Pick-Up: 2005 Prime Patches Steve Finley
I picked up this 2005 Prime Patches Steve Finley jersey card off eBay recently for the starting bid of $0.99 with $2.49 shipping. You can see some of my other Steve Finley Prime Patches cards here, here, and here. About 10 days after I paid for it I messaged the Seller to see if he had shipped it. He got back to me and said that he thought he had already shipped it, but then found it in his car. He apologized and said he had out in a couple of extras to say sorry. He sent two extra Finley cards. I'm really happy to add the bat card to my collection and the SP card features a great photo of Finley taking a home run away from someone.

Trade with GCRL
Jim, of the blog, GARVEY CEY RUSSELL LOPES, and I have traded quite a few times. He recently got the D-Backs in a 2013 Topps Chrome break and offered them up for trade. He sent almost a complete team set and an Alfredo Marte Refractor and Auto. Jim also included a few additional D-Backs as well. Thanks for the trade Jim!

Montero cards from Catching Rays!
Joe of the blog, Catching Rays!, has hooked me up with a few nice Miguel Montero cards over the last couple weeks. Joe knows I'm working on the 2103 Topps Chrome Miguel Montero rainbow for my oldest son for Christmas. While I've been able to pick up most of the parallels, including the Superfractor, Atomic, and Printing Plate, I was missing some of the more common cards including the base, refractor and x-fractor. Joe had an extra base and so he brought that in to work for me along with a 2013 Bowman Chrome Montero.
A week or so later Joe said he had picked up a 2013 Panini Prizm Miguel Montero Auto for me. This is an awesome card because as you can tell, Panini didn't have to photoshop anything other than maybe a Nike logo. Thanks a lot Joe!

eBay Pick-Up: 9 card Jersey/Bat/Auto Lot
I picked up a 9 card lot of Arizona Diamondbacks cards off eBay recently. I won the lot with a starting bid of $4.99, but paid $8 shipping because the seller shipped it in on of those Ultra Pro 9 card holders. The problem with the 9 card holder is that some of the cards shifted around during shipping and got damaged. Oh well! Even at $12.99 I figured it was still a pretty good deal at less than $1.50 per card. Here's what I got. I was most excited about the two autographs (even though I already have the Webb) and the last card which is a dual bat relic of Bernie Williams and Luis Gonzales from 2003 Topps Tribute.
