1997 Score Pitcher Perfect

I got about half of these out of a dime box at a card show a couple of weeks ago and so I picked up the rest on comc.com over Thanksgiving weekend. Believe it or not the Chili Davis card was the most expensive of the batch that I picked up on comc at just over $1.

For this insert set Score commissioned future Hall of Fame pitcher, Randy Johnson, to take some pictures. Randy is actually an accomplished photographer.

I don't think I ever had any of these at the time, but I remember seeing them and always liked them especially the Ripken and Rodriguez cards.

    I got the Cal & A-Rod cards a year or two ago... I'm pretty sure it's the only time in my life that I ever said "I have GOT to get that card of Alex Rodriguez!!!"

    I always wished I could find more cards from this set. I think the only ones I own are the Salmon, A-Rod, and Carter. The Salmon is still my favorite, though.
