This 1995 Donruss insert set features a card for each position with three players per card. Interesting to look back at the top players at each position after 25+ years. These cards have a plastic/metallic look and feel to them and originally contained a protective coating.
Those are some awesome looking cards! I have never seen them before. Many Hall of Famers are featured. I like the ones with the Indians players; will have to track them down for my Indians collection.

ReplyDeleteLove this set. 1995 was a good year for Donruss. They also had those really cool Mound Marvel inserts, which had a sister set in their hockey product (Masked Marvels). Good times.
ReplyDeleteBy the way... if McGriff can get into Cooperstown next year, he'll make the 1st basemen card in this set the first to feature three hall of famers.
I'm pretty sure I need four copies of the catchers!! Catcher binder and all three PCs! I bought a lot of 94 but missed 95 somehow.
ReplyDeleteNot many good 3B in the 90s, huh? All other cards feature at least 1, often 2 HOF players per position.
