Happy Valentine's Day!

Here's what I got with my eBay bucks!

I had $2.59 in eBay bucks that were going to expire so I browsed eBay for a few days until I found a card that I wanted that would be covered by my eBay bucks. I got this 2009 Upper Deck X JUSTIN UPTON Memorabilia card for $2.00 shipped.

With $0.59 in eBay bucks remaining, I did some more looking and ended up winning an auction titled: "Lot of 3 ROOKIES Superstar and HOFer for $.01 shipped" The $.01 referred to the starting bid since it had free shipping. I ended up winning it for $0.26. Here are the three cards that I got. Not too bad for $0.26.

Pack Breaks: 2005 UD All-Star Classics

I picked up 2 packs of 2005 UD All-Star Classics last week at Target when I got my 2010 Allen & Ginter Balster. I was not familiar with the UD All-Star Classics brand and so for $1.59 a pack, I picked up a couple of packs. I was actually pleasently surprised by what I got. The base set is broken down into 3 categories: regular base cards, All-Star Futures and Legendary All-Stars so there is a nice mix of players. Here is what I got.

Pack #2 - The Midsummer Classic Griffey card is a 1:24 pack insert.

Cal Ripken Jr. - 21 card lot up for trade

The first person to respond to this post and offer me a Brandon Webb jersey card gets these 21 Cal Ripken Jr. cards. If no one can offer me a Webb jersey card by 9 PM tonight (AZ time) then I will look at any and all offers, but keep in mind that this trade is for the entire lot. I will not be breaking it up. 1992 Score Dream Team - Cal Ripken Jr.

I was going through a box of cards a few days ago and came accross this 1992 Score Dream Team Cal Ripken Jr. card. I used to love Score cards, they were cheap, and had cool subsets - the most famous being the Dream Team cards. This was one of my favorite Dream Team cards back in day, and I still think it's pretty awesome! I mean look at it. I've always wondered if they had Ripken pose in front of the train or if they photoshopped him in?

Even the back of the card looks cool.

Blaster Box Break - 2007 Ultra (Packs 1-3)

Last Saturday I went to Wal-Mart with my family and took a stoll down the card isle to discover that they had some blaster boxes marked 50% off. 6 packs for less than 5 bucks, that's hard to pass up, so I picked up 2, 2007 Ultra Blasters. This post will delve into the contents of the first 3 packs of the first box. Here we go!

Pack #1

Andruw Jones - Great photo! Love that we get to see all of Mr. Jones and his bat in the photo. I like the teammate on deck with the bat on his shoulder and dirt all over his pants. I love the empty catchers glove popping indicating that Andruw has just driven this ball to deep left field.

Derek Jeter - Gotta show some love to a World Champion.

Scott Kazmir - Great photo! The back of the card reveals that Kazmir, after just 3 seasons had become Tampa Bay's all-time K leader. Congratulations Mr. Kazmir.
