One of my 2012 Card Collecting goals was: Personal Collection - I would like to add 100 cards to my personal collection. Card Shop Purchase

I picked up this Max Scherzer card for my personal collection at my local card shop a few weeks ago. I think that Scherzer's a good, young pitcher and wish him well in Detroit. If you look closely at the card you can see that Max has two different colored eyes. I picked it up for $5 bucks.

The only Michael Young card in my Personal Collection

As I continue to go through my cards, I come accross cards that I want to keep and I add them to what I am calling my Personal Collection. I remember pulling this card from a box of 2006 Topps Updates & Highlights and being excited because I love relic cards that are game specific. This card features a piece of a base that was used in the 2006 MLB All-Star Game. Nothing against Michael Young, but this will probably be his only card in Personal Collection, but what a great card it is.

I received a trade package from Paul of Carl Crawford Cards in the mail today. I sent Paul a 2008 Stadium Club Elliot Johnson Autographed Rookie Card that he wanted and Paul sent me this 2008 Topps All-Star Brandon Webb Jersey card that I had been wanting. I love relic cards that are event specific,so I really enjoy these All-Star Jersey cards. This is going into my Personal Collection. Thanks Paul!
