I bought a collection last year and it ended up having nearly two complete sets of 2016 Leaf Babe Ruth Collection. I remember seeing these when they came out, but didn't by any myself, so finding the sets as part of the collection was a nice find.
It's an 80 card set with two different 10 card insert sets. There is some interesting photographs in the set. Some that I had seen before and some that I hadn't. I wish they wouldn't have reused the photos from the base cards on the insert cards and I wish they would have caped it at 99 cards total instead of 100.
I know Leaf did this with Pete Rose a few years back as well. I have a few that I've gotten over the years randomly, but I don't have that set. I think each box of his came with an autograph.
Do you have either the Babe Ruth or Pete Rose Leaf sets? Are there any others that I'm missing?
I picked up some of the Pete Rose boxes a few years ago, because they were less than ten bucks each and it's hard to pass up his autographs for that price even if they're stickers and logoless. I think I have singles from the Ruth set, but not a complete set.
