Last year I purchased a collection and it had some 1986-87 Fleer Basketball cards in it. No Jordan, but a few other nice rookie cards: Dumars, Olajuwon, Ewing, Wilkins and Mullin. In addition to Jordan, I still need the Barkley, Malone, and Drexler rookies which will set me back a bit, but I have an extra Olajuwan rookie that I can either sell or trade to help out.
A few months ago I found a small lot on a Facebook group and got a great deal. $8 for 15 cards. There were two Spud Webb rookies and rookies of Byron Scott and Manute Bol. I'm about half way there. I think I have 65/132 cards. Let me know if you have any cards I need.

Woah! I would love the Olajuwon, if I can drum up anything you would want. Since that isn't a certainty, feel free to go another route if you get an offer! I'd also go for the extra Spud if that's available.
ReplyDeleteI love this set. I have one without the Jordan and at this point I'll just have to be happy with that. I've never really kept up with prices... but once PSA 7 copies of the Jordan reached 4 figures, I was out of the running. Best of luck on your set.
