I think they're all spring training shots. The Gates Brown photo does not look like Tiger Stadium to me. I think I got to know the parks just from looking closely at my cards when i was a kid.
ReplyDeleteI've got some of these to trade if you want to do another vintage trade. A lot of my 73's are pretty beat up though.
I'm terrible at identifying stadium backgrounds. It has to be something super easy (Yankee Stadium or Candlestick Park) for me to know. But, like Bo said, they look like spring training parks.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of guys like Bo who recognize a bunch of different stadiums. Personally... I'm familiar with the Oakland Coliseum, Candlestick Park, and AT&T... because I grew up attending games there... and have gone to AT&T a bunch of times. The only other ballparks that stand out are certain angles of Fenway, Dodger Stadium, Wrigley, and old Yankee Stadium. The rest just sort of blend in together.
ReplyDeleteI really thought I'd have more for you but that was all I had. As far as stadium help goes, I would be of no help there.
