Most of us have probably noticed an influx of interest in sports cards during the past few months. I've seen several theories. It started with the pandemic and people being stuck at home with more disposable income listening to Gary V. Then came The Last Dance and Long Gone Summer generating nostalgia. Sneakerheads entered the sports card market clearing retail shelves and flipping product for 2-3 times the MSRP. Next thing you know, a Mike Trout sells for $3.84 million.
More interest in sports cards is a good thing, right? My one hope from all of this is that we see baseball cards in cereal boxes again.
In the meantime, I'm going to keep trying to complete previous sets and Bo, of Baseball Cards Come to life! helped me out by sending me these four cards that I needed. Thanks Bo!

ReplyDeleteHappy to help!
ReplyDeleteThe 2002 Topps Post design is a solid looking card. It looks like something they could have use for their Topps Total set or something.
